Free Holiday Project: Gingerbread House

We have a tasty little free project for you today from Fa La La La Felt and fun designer, Laura Howard. This stitched felt ornament is the cutest mini-gingerbread house this side of the North Pole. Warning: As yummy as it looks, don’t eat the felt!
We asked Laura if she has any treasured handmade holiday items and here’s what she said:

My most precious holiday decoration is an Advent calendar made by my mother – a large felt Christmas tree, with lots of felt pockets on it for sweets and teeny gifts. She lovingly hand stitched a trio of them for myself and my sisters when we were younger, every year we’d hang them on our bedroom doors and wake up on December 1st to find the pockets full of little treats! It looks gorgeous and so much love and time went into stitching it, it always makes me smile.
You can find more great crafts on Laura’s blog along with a nice collection of her original holiday tutorials. Get out your craft box because these projects are super cute!
