I don’t have any beading books, but I love my beads!

Hard to choose just one favorite, but probably Marcia DeCoster’s Beaded Opulence. Her designs are so incredibly elegant! And of course Sherry Serafini’s Sensational Bead Embroidery…because I fell in love with her work the first time I saw it!

Wow, too hard to choose just one. I’m a huge fan of anything with a lot of pictures to inspire me!

I would love to have this in my personal library!  I have checked out many books from my local library. I think Beadmaille is my favorite.  I really love the look of the beads combined with the chain maille.

Wow. Just wow. What an amazing giveaway.  I own most of these books and love all those that I do have.  For sheer eye-candy and inspiration, 500 Beaded Objects is one I return to again and again.

I love any book by Carol Wilcox Wells or Diane Fitzgerald.

I have enjoyed Marcia DeCoster’s Beaded Opulence probably the most.  However, all of them I have seen are wonderful books.  Can’t wait for more of the books.

My favorite book – this will be hard because I do not just have one from this group.   Right now it would be Marcia DeCoster’s Beaded Opulence because I am trying to learn how to do RAW – something that has scared me up until now.  I think I am ready to give it a go with help from Marcia’s book.

Some of the best books in their category here!  Many I have on my own personal shelf and many are the ones I carry in the limited space in my store!  Excellent collection for any beader!  

My favourite beading book is one a Cree elder gave me…she drew out some traditional designs and photocopied them for her students. It was a wonderful gift that I treasure. I gave her some pottery for teaching me.

I am very new to beading and I have some of these books on my Amazon wishlist! I am still at the learning stages but hope that eventually I will get good enough to do some of these projects justice.  I think my favorite is the Bead & Fiber Jewelry book.  The whimsical nature of it is very attracting.

There are so many books here that I haven’t seen and would love to explore.  500 Beaded Objects is my favorite for many reasons, the diversity of mediums and styles featured is inspiring.

I have a really hard time determining my favorite beading book. Being more of a metalsmith myself, with a secret wannabe beader hiding inside, and a ridiculous stash of beads, really just about any book full of eye candy and inspiration is my favorite

I would love this library! Oh my goodness. My favorite bead book is the first one I even bought which was The Book of Beads: A Practical and Inspirational Guide to Beads and Jewelry Making by Janet Coles & Robert Budwig. Who knew they would start such a snowball effect?

Pick ME me ME me ME Please OH please! My favorite book is Dimensiona; Bead Embrooidery by Jamie Cloud Aiken. I drool when I look at her work and I learned so much from her directions.

My favorite is Embellished Beadweaving. Seems that’s what I like to do most often.

Wow this is amazing! Every beading book it’s a real treasure to me. Even when I don’t make the projects featured on the books, they are inspiring and can bring what I already know to a new level. I can look at my books and read them several times without getting bored. It would be wonderful to win one of these, all made by wonderful artists. It’s hard to mention just one, but Maggie  Maister’s Classical Elegance would be the best christmas gift to myself. Cheers! =)

OMG! I am salivating! These books are by the very best of today’s innovative beaders. There is so much to learn from these books and I’m not talking about just the basic stitches. Just studying the cover photos is a lesson in color and texture. Would love to get this set! Thanks for a week of hopeful waiting!

I think my fave is the native american beadwork, it is simply elegant, and has been done for many years. I love the rich colors they use.

This would be manna from Heaven for me. I’m just getting started, and have looked online at each of these books. I feel too guilty, it being Xmas time, to spend that kind of money on myself. here’s hoping….

in them.  Very addicting!    Beaded Opulence and Dimensional Bead Embroidery are two books I would place high on my list!

The beading with fiber AND metalworking for beaders are my favorites.
I am a fiber girl, and it is fun to make elegant jewelry without relying solely on metal. Also, a fiber-based necklace with non-metal beads appeals to the metal allergy clientele!

How funny you’ve managed to hit about 90% of the beading books on my wishlist! To pick a favorite is difficult. Anything on bead embroidery because it is my first beading love. The many weaving books because of the inspiration and tips. Stringing because making my own jewelry saves my husband money. One book to pick? That seems so unfair!

What an incredible library!  As an avid book collector and jewelry maker, this would inspire me for years to come!

FAVORITE beading book?  You can’t be serious!  I have a shelf full of books and my favorite is which ever one most is in tune with my muse – at the moment!!

Wow! what a great set of books, and a wonderful opportunity.  There are so many new techniques that I would love to try and these books are a great source of inspiration.  I have Laura McCabes;s Embellished Beadweaving already and it is a wonderful book, one of my favorites.

When I first glanced at your post title, I read “bread” book giveaway, which confused me because I didn’t know there was stuff about baking on this site. Then I got confused a bit more when I saw all the books were about beads. LOL! If I could have just one book, it would have to be the one which shows me how to worth beads and fabric together into one. Yep, that would be the one.

My favor book is by Diane Fitzgerald’s Shaped Beadwork; because I know nothing about this types of beading technic, but i can learn with this book on hand or with any Lark book in hand i am in piggy heaven’

My favorite beading book is always the latest one I get. In that stack, I’d say The Art of Beaded Beads is calling my name.

Ooohh! I do not have a bunch of these and would love to add them to my library, and make sure any duplicates get to a good home. My favorite? There are so many. My newest one perhaps!

The only book I already own on this list is Fitzgerald’s Shaped Beadwork but I am working my way thru each project in it and am over 2/3 completed.  An excellent book, well illustrated!  Thank you.

Christmas is arriving early! This is such a wonderful list of books. All of the Lark books I have so far are outstanding. It’s hard to pick my favorite – but it would have to be a tie between Beaded Opulence and The art of beaded beads.

I’ve just recently started beading on fabric, so this collection would give me a great jump start on lots of what I DON’T know about beading. I don’t think I’ll ever make jewelry, since I’m primarily a quilt artist, but with beads, you just never know where you’ll end up. Great giveaway–thanks!

Oh my !! That is an amazing grouping of wonderful looking books. I do have to admit that while I do dabble in some beading as well as jewelry, I don’t own any books on the subject. My sons’ fiancee and my Mother in Law both do however. If I were lucky enough to win these, I would be gifting all of these books between the two of them. They would both be absolutely thrilled with them.
I personally do have an email subscription which I read from Bead and Button Magazine and Bead Style magazine.

Masters of Beadweaving is great for inspiration. Diane Fitzgarald is my go to book for quick and easy to embelish with my own color palette.

This is an incredible selection! The wide variety on beading from fiber, loom work and metalwork makes this group of books a must have for any bead jeweler. I’m keeping a copy of this list just so I can buy the books later on. 

I would love to have the Beading With Cabachons.  What beautiful pieces and challenging.

I don’t have any of my own beading books. I’m new at this. My friend just got me interested in beading.

I’d have to say my favorites in this list are Serafini’s and McCabes. These masters go about their work in a similar what but with different oucomes.  It’s splended list you have there – some I’d love to add to my library and a few I’d love to use as giveaway’s on my blog – mostly because I have duplicates. Bravo Lark for having so many irresistable books.

I love Beading with Cabochons, because up until I read that book, I didn’t think I could bezel a cabochon.  Great directions and wonderful eye candy.

What a wealth of information!  i love beading books and will certainly use this list as a resource.  Beaded Opulence is a beautiful book and if Shaped Beadwork is anything like Mastering Beadwork, it is a colorful and inspiring book.  I love to go to book stores and look at the beading books, so having the books in this collection would make for many hours of pleasant exploration of beading possibilities.

I guess I have 2 favorites “Shaped Beadwork” and “The Art & Elegance of Beadweaving”.  I suspect you have some of my future favorites on that list!

My all time favorite is Beading with Cabochons.  Its how I learned to bead around cabs.

Difficult to choose a favourite book but have been coveting the beadmaille book for a while now.

Hands down, Sherry Serafini’s book is my favorite of the bunch!! My husband and I have a lot of the 500 series and we both enjoy them. You’ve given us all a wonderful gift by producing such terrific books! Thank you!

I absolutely loved the first Rachel Nelson Smith book “Seed Bead Fusion.” I made the Ootheca cuff and am making a pair of earrings. Her color palette and 3D bead weaving are amazing! I’d love to see her visionary beadwork in “Bead Riffs.”

I love Maggie Meisters Classical Elegance for it’s ability to inspire modern jewelry from ancient examples. Very well written, as well.

I’ve recently gotten the most from Metalworking 101 for Beaders – not necessarily because of the projects but because it was a gentle introduction to the metalworking that I am LOVING right now. Adding the beading component made metalworking approachable.

Seriously???  Love that this can be EXCELLENT Christmas presents since I already have most of them  and  LOVE ‘EM.  Pick one? Can’t, too much good stuff!

I don’t actually own any beading books except for the Beader’s Companion. I love that and refer to it often.

Native American Beading’s the one I have my eye on…

I really don’t know if I could pick only one beading book.  It all really depends on what I am working on at the time.

I have way too many favorite Lark books to try to pick out just one.

My favorite out of this set is Shaped Beadwork, because Diane has a precision that I have never been able to master naturally.  She has challenged me to stretch my ideas and my technique.

I have to say that I love all of the  creativity in 500 Beaded Objects and of course all of Sherry’s creations.

My favorite book to date is Dimensional Bead Embroidery by Jamie Cloud Eakin. This book is fantastic. It gives a few new stitches that I’ve not seen before and has projects that are inspiring. I love bead embroidery and beading of any kind.

My favorite is Sherry Serafini’s book Sensational Bead Embroidery because Sherry’s first book is how I learned to bead embroider, and I love it! Sherry holds a special place in my heart. My second choice would be Marcia DeCoster’s Beaded Opulence as I LOVE her designs.

My favorite book is 500 Beaded Objects.  I am continually amazed at the wonderful talent of the many bead designers out there; they are all so inspiring.  There is so much variety–something for everyone and every style.  It is a blessing to be able to enjoy and appreciate the high level of creativity in the group of artists portrayed in this book.  Bravo!

At this moment my favorite is diminsional bead embroidery, a great instructional book with so many amazing photographs of exceptional beading. I see bead embroidery as becoming the next big movement in the beading world.

I love to bead and love learning new techniques…but a collection of Lark books (which I have coveted forever) would make it all complete!

Metalworking 101 for Beaders has great beginner projects for those of us who still have a huge bead stash but are starting to dabble in metal. I’ve had a lot of help from this book. The Master’s collection is also a wonderful source of inspiration, you couldn’t ask for more. What an amazing collection!

So many wonderful books in this collection!!  I really love Jaimie Cloud Eakin’s “Beading with Cabochons”.  I purchased this book quite some time ago, thinking that some day I’d like to try this.  Well, I HAVE “tried this”, and this book has been my go-to reference ever since.  It has excellent instructions for various techniques.

Wow! What a great collection of beading and jewelry books! I only own 5 out of the 21 and would be so thrilled if I were to win the collection. I’d even give away the 5 I already own just postage and the asking to a serious beader who really wanted the book or books 

About my favorite bead book: I honestly could not do without most of the books that I already own on beadwork. There seems to be something in each one of them that I just can’t do without a reference to, even if it is just the beautiful eye candy.  I’ll have to go with Horace Goodhues book on beadwork as I learned more beadweaving stitches from that one book than any other I’ve ever owned.

Dimensional Bead Embroidery is my favorite –I have a library copy at home right now. I love this collection. Wow

Sherry Sarafini – her books are wonderful, her instructions are wonderful, and while her work looks unbelievably difficult, she breaks it down so any of us can make beautiful embroidered jewelry.

My favourite beading book is Embellished Beadweaving by Laura McCabe. It just has so many useful little things that can be used in so many different ways. It is the most useful beading book I have came accross in a long time.

Not sure of a favorite, but would really enjoy reading them all and finding a favorite!!

I have 2 of Sherry Serafini’s books and I really love her work!  I love off loom weaving and all the possible design options using all the stitches.  I used a loom when I was learning, but would never go back to it.

I’m  a big Lark books fan, and I own many of their books.  I would love, love, love to win this!  (Any duplicates will be shared or gifted, I promise!)  My current fave is dimensional Bead Embroidery by Jamie Cloud Eakin.  She is so clear and full of good ideas and she encourages you to go your own way rather than do cookie-cutter projects.  I love that!

A favourite for me is Metalworking 101 for beaders. So much inspiration and easy to follow instuctions. What a terrific selection of books to receive for who ever is the lucky winner.

I just received Maggie Meister’s beautiful book and cannot wait to bead one of her wonderful shapes, thank you for all of these gorgeous books!

What a really exciting collection of  bead books…sure to thrill any beader. I own some on the list and have coveted others as my hobby/craft has evolved. They sure would look purty on my bookshelves. The ones that I already own would be given as gifts to the Bead Society of Greater New York, the organization that taught me everything I know…about beading and about life.

Any bead book is my favorite-since I am an ametur and welcome any knowledge I can get my hands on. The collection seems like tomes over flowing with beading technique and wisdom.

500 Beaded Objects would be the winner here, although I have seen many listed here because I have borrowed them from the library.  Everyone of these books are wonderful and give great inspiration to someone like myself.  I admire the outstanding work of these artists and then envision how I can make it my own design.  I would love to own this outstanding collection.

What a great prize!  I have Maggie Meister’s Classical Elegance and the Metalworking for Beaders on my wishlist.  And there are several of the others that I would love to get a look at.  Crossing my fingers!

I did a little bead work many, many years ago but my life got so busy I had to put it aside.  I am now 66 years old and retired and today I bought my first Lark book, ‘Beaded Opulence”.  I’m so excited, I feel like a young girl again and can’t wait to get started. I had almost forgotten how much fun beading is.

Oh, this is hard!  Four of my favorites are on this list!  Beaded Opulence, Beading with Cabochens, Shaped Beadwork, and Sensational Bead Embroidery are all great!  How can I pick just one???

The Sherry Serafini book is one that’s been on my wish list for a very long time. All the others look great too. Whomever the winner is, will be a very lucky person. Good luck to everyone.

I think it’s really awesome of you to be giving beading books away! I don’t have a favorite yet since I just recently started beading but Sherry Serafini’s Sensational Bead Embroidery and Laura McCabe’s Embellished bead weaving have some amazing projects. Beaded Opulence by Marcia DeCoster and Tapestry Bead Crochet by Ann Benson look really great too.

I found 500 Beaded Objects to be inspirational. I have used Shaped Beadwork extensively.

Since I’m relatively new to beading and am eager to learn new things, these books would be a godsend.  I’m trying to start a home based business to sell my jewelry and the books would show me how to move forward with my craft.  What a Merry Christmas present!

At this point I don’t have a favorite book as I’m too new to beading and have so very much to learn! I love doing so through books. The ones above are a fantastic selection; many are on my wishlist.

Dorothy Wood’s Beaders Bible is a constant beading companion.  Whenever I get “stuck” I know I can find a way around and end up with a lovely finished project.

I am also new to jewelry crafting and beading. The only book in my library is the “Contemporary Bead & Wire Jewelry”. I really like the designs in this book because not only are they designs that I could (and will) create as gifts, but they have also given me inspiration/ideas for other projects.

Hard to pick, but Creative Beadweaving has to be one of them. The first book beading book I ever bought and it is what got me started! Still use it as a reference.

My favorite book so far is, Beaded Opulence by Marcia De Coster’s. I really enjoy learning the right angle weave technique from this book. The deigns are phenomenal! I am looking forward to learning more from the other books on beading from Lark Crafts! I would love to have them all!!!
