Every Friday evening, I post a set of project instructions.

Before editing the instructions for any book, we hold a project review. All the projects get arranged artfully on a conference table; and at the appointed meeting time, the art director and the management team come to get acquainted with the projects (so to speak) while the editor who developed the book brags on the various attributes of each item.

I just love peeking in to my colleagues’ project reviews to admire the things they’ve collected for their books—so fun! And I was especially wowed, years ago, by the project review for Kathy Frey‘s jewelry, which eventually became the book Elegant Wire Jewelry.
