The Dog Days of Summer Giveaway

It has been a hot summer!  Often our faithful companions are right there with us—panting all the way. Perhaps that’s why the hottest months get named “The Dog Days of Summer”. Lark Crafts has done numerous books celebrating dogs: from canine costumes, to circus tricks, to bark out loud jokes.

So, you love your dog, right? Tell me what you love best about your canine best friend, whether they are a good sport ready to perform any trick for treats or a Diva waiting to be dressed up and served.

    We have two, Dixie and Kadie. They are the same breed, one long hair, one short, but they are very different. Dixie is our playful gal; this little short hair dachshund loves to play tug-of-war with you and one of her stuffed animals. Kadie is Miss Mellow; this long hair doxie will climb up on the couch next to you and then flip herself back, so that she is sitting up, her belly exposed for a good scratch. They make us laugh, and keep us entertained!

    My dog sings along whenever my son plays violin.  He puts up with fiddle tunes but loves Vivaldi.  He does it like he thinks it his job to do it.  He’s very funny.
