Springing into Spring on Etsy

Oh Spring, I’m so glad you’re here. It’s not even that we’ve had that harsh of a winter, it’s just that my eyes became so accustomed to white, brown, and gray that I sort of lost track of living, sprouting, colorful things. Asheville, North Carolina, (where Lark Crafts is situated) is gorgeous during all four seasons, but it really pulls out the stops in spring (holy mackerel, all the pink, white, purple, yellow, and magenta flowering trees make me feel like I’m walking through a Dr. Seuss book). I’m from the midwest, so I never feel like I get enough of this cacophony of blossoms: my next door neighbors have a lilac bush in their front yard, and I often take my dog on a “walk” with the sole purpose of standing in their yard by the lilacs. I can’t tell if this is creepy or not, standing in my neighbors’ shrubbery, so I try not to think about it too much.

With a wild appreciation for the colors, new little sprouts, singing birds, and overall loveliness of the season, I meandered through Etsy and gathered a collection of blossomy, beautiful, springy finds. I think I’d like to live in these photos.

Thank you, Beth, for this amazing feature and show of support! We’re delighted to be nestled in with such cheery company. And, haha, standing in shrubbery, especially lilacs, is perfectly logical, AND inspiring. I shall hunt down a lilac bush today! : ) –Andie

    Beth,

What a cool thought to “live in a photo”. I would like to live in the 3rd one: Wonderland photo.

I am enjoying checking out Craft Your Life. It was nice to meet you last week at Carol’s.
