A couple of weeks ago, a cryptic image of a robot-looking face popped up all over downtown Asheville. Between getting coffee at Izzy’s and walking to work, I spotted several of these men, in different colors and sizes. Curious. My internet investigation led me here, although this really only increased my puzzlement.

Just who is the elusive Evereman? A furniture maker, yes; a street artist, maybe; a guerilla marketer, so it seems. Whoever they are, this man or woman or group sent me on a Where’s Waldo adventure in my own city, and I appreciated the game, and the chance to view my surroundings in a new way.
