Craft-In Wednesdays: A Sweet & Prickly Giveaway

Craft-In contributor Katy Yellen can do amazing things with a hook and yarn. Check her out! She’s a crochet whiz and adorable to boot. In her Craft-In booklet, she shows you, step-by-step, how to make your own crochet cactus. Here’s the accelerated version.

Impressive, no? I think Katy knocked that one out in under 12 minutes.

Want to start your own crochet cactus garden? Leave a comment on this post by midnight on Wednesday, November 17th, and you’ll be entered to win a copy of Craft-In plus one of Katy’s original handmade cacti from Craft-In.     Just checked out the book review posted on the hello craft website. The book sounds like so much fun (if I don’t win it I am either buying it or asking for a copy for christmas). The cacti are pretty cute (and you don’t have to water them) but I would love to see a crochet sunflower that would be really cute too.

    As an Arizona girl I really appreciate a good cactus, these are great. My mom crocheted an awesome spider plant in the ’80s; that might be one to bring back.

    The cati are super cute! i would suggest Katy to make the oh-so-gross things that kities love to play with like dead lizards, birds and cockroaches! I think she could totally cute them up!
